As I remember, the thickness was about 0.003" (3 mil).  To be sure, you might want to check with Dean Endress.  Shim stock this thin has the onsistency of very thick foil.  I'll make you the same offer I made Dean.  I don't have brass shim stock of that thickness on hand (but know where I could get it in town), but I do have some 0.002" (2 mil) copper foil.  If you want some copper foil, e-mail me your address.
