I find I am using crystal flash in almost all of my flies these days and another item
I seem to be using with greater frequency is a synthetic wing material similar to
Stalcup's medallion sheeting. These two materials have influenced my tying more than
any others in the past couple of years.
On another note if there were only two materials I could have to tie with they would
be deer hair and peacock herl.
