For the record, I turned ridderbos into it<g>
I love bill skilton's foams. They are really easy to work with and look awesome. Did joshua get a japanese beetle? I got one, and am really impressed with it. I've been tying them up, just waiting for them to come back this summer and fall into the streams. I sugject his book as well, its worth the 30 bucks, shows you how to tie all of his patterns. Glad everyone had fun at the show!

Check out this site...

You can also check out Bill Skilton's USA-Flies - he has a similar
material. No web site, but phone is 800-444-9564. Ridderboss turned me
on to his tying, and I spent a bit of time learning some of his foam
methods for segmentation, and he tied a cool beetle for my son with his
brand of the iridiscent foam - Joshua was pretty enamored with it.

Living would be easier if men showed as much patience at
home as they do when they're fishing.

I was at Chris Helms booth yesterday and he had some material that Ive
never seen in the shop before. It was called Loco Foam. It looked like
foam on one side but was shiny, iridescent on the other. Has anyone
heard of this and can you put me on the track to picking some up?
Thanks
