On a road trip I took back to Kansas, I actually got 20 MPG on my Dakota.
Remember this is a V-6.
Not much in the way of power compared to that wouderful 360.
BTW when I build my AC Cobra immitation from a kit. I am planning on using
that 360 Dodge motor.
I should be able to get to the fishing holes pretty quickly.

Notice how I got fishing in there.

I had a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 with Extended Cab, 4X4, and a 360 engine.
I sure hated that around town, but on road trips it averaged about
20.8 mpg.  Big Red.  Miss him!
