On a road trip I took back to Kansas, I actually got 20 MPG on my Dakota. Remember this is a V-6. Not much in the way of power compared to that wouderful 360. BTW when I build my AC Cobra immitation from a kit. I am planning on using that 360 Dodge motor. I should be able to get to the fishing holes pretty quickly.
Notice how I got fishing in there. I had a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 with Extended Cab, 4X4, and a 360 engine. I sure hated that around town, but on road trips it averaged about 20.8 mpg. Big Red. Miss him!
