Joyce:

My first p/u was an '82 Datsun 4X4 and it got 28 MPG.
Then I got the new body style '86 Hardbody. It got around 20 MPG.It wasn't
all that hard.
I rolled it and got an '88. Which only got 13 MPG. (do we see a trend here?
Maybe colusion with the oil companys)
I had it until recently. A motor home wanted to check out my rear end and
totaled it out.
That's when I got the Dakota.

I'm still driving ( and restoring the body in collision repair technology
101, also know as car class) my 1982 Datsun diesel..last year it was Datsun
and last year they made a diesel. It gets ":poor": gas mileage..only 28 mpg
fully loaded long bed. Of course, that is compared with my 1978
Rabbit..which died this year..which got 45 mpg regularly. Now drive a gas
guzzling Golf..only 25 mpg. SO, I understand how one could love a great gas
mileage vehicle. Joyce
