I have both arms. Unless I am tying a large amount of clouser style
flys I don't change arms. If you are a bit handy with a lathe there are
not difficult to make.

Subject: RE: [VFB] vise question: renzetti traveler & saltwater

Thanks for the feedback everybody.

Here's what I decided: I'm keeping the traveler my wife & daughter
bought. I'm not going for the accessories; I'll continue to use my
"manual clouser arm" (thanks again for the reality check Allan) if I
find it problematic with the bent shaft.

I remembered the little oasis tying station I bought had a clamp for a
vise so it provides a pedestal if I need one. I'll keep the c clamp
then. It's not the most portable but I've traveled with it before.

I've been tying on the traveler today and I love it. I tied up a dozen
blondes for another swap I'm in in one night. For me, that's cranking.
Prior to the rotary I could get three or four done in one night.

So, thanks again. I'm enjoying the new vise already and I appreciate the
opinions. Now to start looking at the regal..... ;->
