In my new book I write about a "duckling" fly for northerns, but a full-sized duck!?? Definitely outside of my experience and I definitely plan to keep it that way. I don't tie flies to imitate baby seals for catching great whites either. Cheers, Paul -- Paul Marriner Outdoor Writing & Photography. Member OWAA & OWC.
