[VFB] Hot weather wading

I want to go wader-free during the summer because of the heat, but worried 
because of all the underwater rocks and whatnot which might not be too good. 
I am basing this on how torn up my waders have become in less than two years 
of use...they didn't have Kevlar covering of course. But nonetheless, any 
suggestions on what i can do about hot waders and underwater edges??

dreamin about a stream, a coupla fish, and mebbe a nice sub sandwitch with 
lemonade...:-)
