Hi all,
I've always thought that it was impossible to split UNI 6/0 and 8/0 because it was bonded. So I used other thread like Danville or Gudebrod for this technique (instead of dubbing loops for hair and CDC collars etc.). Today I noticed that it is possible to split UNI after all: I counterspinned the bobbin, rubbed my thumbnail along thread, pulled and wiggled thread from left to right, and I could insert my needle and split the UNI just as easily as the other makes.
Does anyone know if UNI have changed their thread?
Martin
