[VFB] Wood Cock?

On a recent fishing trip, a buddy of mine had a woodcock run into his 
windshield and fall in the back of his truck, dead.  I took a bunch of 
feathers from him, as they were a nice mottled color, but rather 
small...before we buried him on the side of the road.

My question is, are there any patterns out there that call for woodcock?  I 
was thinking the breast feathers would make awesome soft hackles, but are 
there patterns out there that use woodcock in them??  This is not wood 
duck...wood cock is a game bird(uplands??) brown in color and a long 
beak....i think its very wierd looking.
