To get a set of bullethead tools for all occasions, you can buy metal rod ferrules in different sizes.

There are several sources. I got mine several years ago from Netcraft (<http://www.jannsnetcraft.com>).

They have a funky website. You can download their catalog in 17 segments ranging from 268 Kb [ Pg 31-33 (268 kb) Soft plastics, hooks] up to a 1.5 Mb or so [ Pg 61-70 (1,565 kb) Handle parts, finishes, guides, parts, tools]. That's fine for you folks with high connection speeds. Everyone else I'd recommend requesting a catalog (free).

Of course, the ferrules are in the largest segment (page 63), which took me 10 minutes to download! yippee.

And this may not be very cost effective. I see that the ferrules are all in the $2.50 to $3.50 range now. I think they were all around a dollar when I got my set.

Oh well. 'Twas a thought.

I'd probably go with the Griffin set today. I only use about 3 different ferrule sizes.
