Do violins have an "effective spine" as well, or can you build a violin out of Loomis Glass/carbon fiber?  I would like to see a 5wt carbon fiber violin (maybe that would be a cello). Mike

Not only that, but the actual vector direction varies all over the
place, whereas in the violin it is
in only one direction.........unless you drop it!
