The one I have is made by Gudebrod I think, and it's all plastic. I got 2
free with some Gudebrod thread and haven't learned to use them. I just
respool the thread onto a nor-bobbin and use everything but tinsel that way.
But you still are welcome to the plastic one if you want it.

Is this the Griffin one?  It holds the thread vertically and has a metal
with ceramic insert for the tube.
