Deb, The one I have is made by Gudebrod I think, and it's all plastic. I got 2 free with some Gudebrod thread and haven't learned to use them. I just respool the thread onto a nor-bobbin and use everything but tinsel that way. But you still are welcome to the plastic one if you want it.
