I really can't tell you a lot about the DS2. I have a graphite 2 that is 9' four piece for a 6 wt. I have several of the later model Sages and I like them. If you can get an opportunity to take it and cast it to see if you like it. Most sage rods can be over lined one or two sizes. I don't know when Sage is implementing the original owner warranty. Rods do break. I think that I've broken 7 or 8.
