Hi Loxy,

I have a DS2 8'6" and it's my main rod now. I broke the tip piece of the rod beyond repair and sage replaced it no problem (send in your warranty card though). It casts really nice... I had to get used to it at first. It seemed a little slower then what I was using previously. It works great... having said that. I don't have any expensive rods to compare it to. Hope this helps.

Subject: [VFB] SAGE fly rods. Your opinion.

All,

Can I ask what you think of the Sage fly rods. In particular I have been offered a DS2 5 weight, 8'6" - 2 piece rod and want to get an idea of what it is like. I know that the sage rods have a great name, but I am also aware of the power of advertising. Can I have the truth??

Much appreciated,

Loxy.
