I use a number of different hooks.. But like most folks I stay with persoanl favorites:

  Dryflies = Dai Riki, Daiichi, Tiemco, & some Hayabusa

  Nymphs = Dai Riki, Tiemco, Daiichi

  Streamers = Daiichi, Tiemco, Dai Riki

Saltwater = Daiichi, Dai Riki, Mustad

 Steelhead/Pacific Salmon = Partridge,Daiichi,Dai Riki, Deleted Mustad hooks...

   Bass = Mustad, Tiemco

The sequence on the Brand Names are in order of preferance. I will use various Manufactuers as my needs call for them. I prefer Dai Riki 300s over Tiemco 100s...but that's just my view, I think the Dai Riki looks better & has better shape & sharpness. Also Dai Riki's 305 is my personal favorite for tying Elk Hair Caddis patterns...

But notice I still favor Mustad for my Bass flies.. their Original Stinger hook has superior hooking capabilities to Tiemco's Bass "stinger" hook... for myself anyway.. Bummer is it gets harder everytime I need to re-stock on Mustad Stinger hooks to feel my inventory...I should just go nuts & order a 1000 hook order, then i should be set....

 I also have a growing Collection of Antique Hooks.. Alot of Allcock, Pennell, Mustad, Partridge, etc... I do occassionally fish flies on these "Collector Hooks" but for the most part they are for show flies....

Subject: [VFB] What is your preferred hook brand?

I was wondering what your preferred hook brand is?   Based on durability, sharpness and appearance of the finished product, what hook brand do you prefer to use for your personal tying?
