Jimi,
Here in Oregon you learn to just deal with the rain and get out. Last
winter I didn't get out much after the Steelhead, but this year I'm hoping
to get out more often. I did make it over to the Crooked river a couple of
times last winter and am hoping to do the same. Most years I don't catch a
fish on a dry fly till about May, last year it was in Jan. When I'm not
looking for work or actually working I spend time wrestling with the kids or
playing Shrek with them on the PS2. We're also planning on getting heat in
the wood shop this year so I may do a little more playing around on the
lathe and making some wooden fly boxes.
