Tony, do you put any type of "tail" on this tiny fly? One of our best flies
is the Pedro, originally tied with a bit of Pedro donkey fur simply wrapped
around the hook on a size 22-24 and left with a tuft at the eye end. Now we
substitute some of that gray/brown  multi-colored acrylic/wool that you can
get in the craft store or Wal-mart.  Works just the same. I get fish on this
fly when nothing else works. Only problem is seeing the fly, but usually the
fish take it with such gusto that even this is not a problem.  Small flies
are the rule on our river. Joyce
