Thankx for THAT tip Joyce. Now to get my wife to give up a pair of pantyhose. LOL, if you knew my wife. She gets cold real easy, and wares 'em to work even in the summer time. Cause she hates air conditioning, and works in an office building between 52ed and 53rd, Park and Madison. Huge building 50/60 floors and i guess they keep it pretty cold in the summer. Come to think of it, the lobby is a nice place to get out of the heat..........yes i do remember that, lol. It's a great building........has a grand piano in the lobby and Jazz concerts at lunch time. Also a great book store with a fly fishing and Jazz sections, not to mention baseball. For ten years we lived just four blocks down and one over, so it only took her 10 minutes to walk to work. Now we're uptown and it takes a bit more time. Well, maybe i'll just steal a pair, LOL. J/K. mark

If it were my floss, I'd put it in the leg of an old nylon pantyhose
stocking, tie it tight with a piece of string and throw the whole thing in
the washing machine with my regular wash of towels and sweats. I'd even put
in the usual laundry anti-static stuff. When finished, I'd take the whole
thing out and either line dry it or put it, still in the pantyhose, in the
dryer. It will come out great. I've done lots of feathers this way when
they've come from a smoking household and they've done just fine..would do
the floss the same way. Be sure and pick off and keep track of the little
paper bands on the floss and perhaps, if there are many of them, put a
rubber band around each floss skein. Good luck. Let us know how they came
out. Joyce
