I wasn't going to put my views in on this one, However....
I Smoke... I Do Not smoke in the House I rent with 2 others. I do this out of courtesy. I take a Walk to have a Smoke... I even wash my face & Hands After I Return from the walk.. I do this out of Kindness, not because it's Politically Correct (OxyMoron if i have ever heard one!!!).
As to the No Smoking in Bars.... Good Bloody Luck trying to enforce that Law. i can hope in my Car & drive over to the Local Pub any afternoon & order a Pint, While drinking my Pint I can observe a number of folks enjoying a Smoke INSIDE THE BAR. The Folks Tell me I can smoke inside the Bar as well...but i don't out of Kindness, and maybe just a wee bit concerned about getting a ticket....
As I understand it since the law went into effect some 6 years ago here in California, very few tickets have been issued, fewer Bars have had to pay fines. There is just not enough Manpower to enforce it...
I have gone to Clubs to see bands i like perform & Folks light up in there as well..... I do still go outside to smoke, Out of Kindness....
It's just an un-enforcable law...
Tony, if you can smell the smoke coming thru your Airconditioning, I'd take it in for a Check up... Just think how Much Car Exhaust is getting thru the sudo-filtering system as well...????
And don't tell me that Car exhaust being produced is not as bad (if not Worse) as Second Hand Smoke.....
I try to be cool as can be with my Smoking..... but there are limits....
