Hey Mark,,  Night fishing there for browns,, try using what I call the "Brown and White bucktail". Wrap the hook in heavy wire, then tie on Pearlescent mylar tube. Leave the tail part overhang the bend to look like a tail (fray it apart and tied in with red thread) Tie in a white and brown wing over the top and finish the head (big) if you can paint the eye on for looks. I think streamers work better with eyes, might be just an opinion, but I think they work better. Cast that puppy out in the dark (into the stream of course) and strip it back as fast as you can, then hang on tight!! Talk to you soon Ray the Grey Ghost
