Sounds good to me GG. Simple enough tye. Don't have any mylar tubing though. Have never used the stuff. Easy enough to get. And i have plenty of sub material anyway. The mylar does make a nice tail though. What hook do you use when you tye them? I've got lots of different streamer hooks. Bet the old Bumble Puppy (T.G. fly i think) would also work. Hell, if it's big enough, and the presentation is right, i highly doubt the fly really matters, specially at night. A mouse always works. Thing is to get in the water nice and quite, and then wait til you cast for 10 minutes. Let 'em forget there ever was a disturbance. They're used to deer commin' through at night anyway. later, mark

Hey Mark,,
Night fishing there for browns,, try using what I call the "Brown and White
bucktail". Wrap the hook in heavy wire, then tie on Pearlescent mylar tube.
Leave the tail part overhang the bend to look like a tail (fray it apart and
tied in with red thread) Tie in a white and brown wing over the top and finish
the head (big) if you can paint the eye on for looks. I think streamers work
better with eyes, might be just an opinion, but I think they work better. Cast
that puppy out in the dark (into the stream of course) and strip it back as fast
as you can, then hang on tight!!
Talk to you soon
