It's kinda hard to pull a porcupine quill out when it breaks off short shanked.
Funny JD, when one of my dogs had a nose full of them things, i just pulled 'em out by hand. She didn't even flinch either. Never made a peep. I was cringing when i did it, because i thought i was gonna hurt her.........but she was cool. mark
