Don

At one time I looked into this (a few years back)  I didn't find any references only a comment that any relationship that may exist will be site/situation specific.  You may be able to construct a local table for one site but it will probably be only a gross estimate due to variability of light spectrum and intensity vs the artificial light source used in determining NTU.

Anyone on the list know of a reference relating
nephelometric turbidity units to distance of
visibility in inches?

Thanks, in advance, and Happy Holidays!
