My best moment probably came while we were on
vacation in Rocky Mountain National Park.
I was fishing one of the creeks and catching
fish. There was another fly fisherman about 50 yards ahead of
me.
He came back to see what I was using to catch fish.
The fly shop he had been to had sold him flies in
sizes 6 and up. I am not sure where he went to or who was even doing the
selling.
I gave him a size 16 paraloop black gnat. I
told him where to cast. He caught a 6 " brookie. He took several
pictures of it as it was the first trout he had ever caught.
Two cast later he had an 8 " brown trout.
Used up the rest of the roll of film on that fish.
Alot of fun to see he excitement in catching a fish
on a fly rod.
