Wes, Not only is Peacock and Grizzly an effective Dry Fly(the Griffith's Gnat) But its also a stellar wet fly(Gray and Peacock)

Hook: 6-14
Thread: Black
Tail: I use red hackle fibers
Body: 8-10 Peacock Herls
Hackle: Grizzly Wet Fly...tie it sparse or full, however you want
Wing: I find Red Calf Tail to work good, but experiment

This is one of my favorite wet flies to fish for picky trout.

Subject: [VFB] Grizzly saddle hackle patterns?

Can someone please suggest wet/nymph/bugger/streamer patterns that use grizzly saddle hackle? A recipe or online reference would be helpful. Proven effective flies would be a plus!

I need to tie up some flies for test purposes for the research project I am working on.

Thanks!
