The Kreinik I use is fine braid, #332. It's probably not available in most hobby shops. There's a couple of stitchery specialty shops I go to for it, and if they don't have it in stock, they will order it. Kreinik won't sell direct. The stuff is really bright red when wet; it's red and some other metallic color candy stripe when dry (I guess you'd call the other color silver) I use it on the middle of Royal Coachmen or any other fly that needs shiney red.
