No, Birdie, you should have taken a little sack with you and collected all the sand dollars that were intact, (not broken).  When we lived in Panama City, Fla in the late 60's,  my kids  we got a quarter apiece for them at the local beach curio shops. No telling what they're bringing now.  Starfish take too long to dry out and they smell while doing it.

On a more sensible aspect I have just returened from Florida and there was a full moon while I was there and the beach was literally covered in sand dollars and starfish in fact below the mid tide mark it was a job to walk without treading on any.( Jimmy I dont need you to say well you should have walked higher up the beach Ha Ha )
