Gary,
Lefty had a stroke a couple of years ago, coupled with a heart attack.  His
hands are not as coordinated as they used to be.  He is pretty recovered and
says he's feeling good, but the efects of a stroke, as you know, can be
permanent.  At the Denver ISE show a couple of years ago, just after the
attack, he had a hard time wrapping a fly.  He's such a hardy person,
though, and just worked his way right through it, blaming it on Pete
Parker's vise, which he was using.

So if he needs a neat fly for a book photo, I'm not surprised that he has
one tied for him from someone well-practiced.
