Good Question, Ginger.
Ijust went through the patterns in my new 'The Fly Shop'catalog, and sure
enough, I didn't spot any patterns using plastic ribbing.  A couple had
clear beads to replace the hard, clear segmentation.  But I didn't see any
others.  Don't know what caused the decline.  Maybe we should do a
ribbing-swap for those who still posses the stuff.
