Hello again, everyone,
I was just reading a new-to-me book (The Practical Fly Tier: No-Nonsense Patterns
and Techniques for Wet and Dry Flies, Nymphs, and Streamers by Royce Dam et al) and
I'm interested in what a 'Carding brush' is. I make my own wool dubbing and dye it,
so I'm highly curious what this device is... the context is that the brush makes wool
dubbing easier to work with in a 'strand by strand' fashion. At first I thought it
was a simple bore-cleaner for a gun barrel, or something like that, but I'm a bit
confused as to what the book means. Could someone please shed some light on this? Is
this the 'lint-remover' brush?
Thanks,
Pete
