Mine looked like calf tail before the weed monster took it.  The blue was somewhat muted which does not match my Krienik.  Of well, let's have at it.  If the fish don't like it, I can always mail it to 1600 PA Avenue.

I remember the pattern calling for "smolt blue" krystal flash and red floss for the body.  A few years ago I went around to all the shops in my area trying to find that blasted 'smolt blue!'  Here's a link to a picture and recipe (from the Orvis site).   The Patriot
