The more I think about it, I believe that he had two necks out on the table while he was tying. I think the wing was actually tied with white barbules from a stiff hackle. I think that the red thread tied just before the brown hackle sure does give it a distintcive look.   The picture that Monte posted is exactly like mine. Mine looked like calf tail before the weed monster took it.  The blue was somewhat muted which does not match my Krienik.  Of well, let's have at it.  If the fish don't like it, I can always mail it to 1600 PA Avenue.   Murf
