Is your 8'-6"
fly rod made with the old style metal ferrel. I have a few of these that are
no good to me any more if you can use them. Send me a reply email if you can
use them.
I have a two piece 8' 6" 6 wt that has
sentimental vlaue to me. The problem is that the bottom part of the
rod is a little to small to fill the top part of the ferrel.
Is there some way to fix this. If I
cast very long with this the two pieces come apart. come apart.
The rod belonged to a good friend who died and willed it to me.
I know superglue would do it, but then I
would not get the rod apart.
