Thanks SteveB, I have been looking for a fly for Gills, They are about to go on beds here. At 2 lbs they are mean little burgers pound for pound. Do you have a picture of the fly?

There are several sites with info about carp on the fly. About.com has some articles in the archives. I caught a pretty big carp on a small yellow foam fly that I tie for bluegills. I think it looks like corn, which works for both species. Size 12 hook; a little dubbing or peacock hurl to cover the hook; a V-shaped wing of yellow foam tied at the head (red thread or yellow works well) and down wing style to the bend. It may look like a little caddis. Gills love 'em and carp go for them too. --- Steve, In Maryland ____________________________________________________________ Find what you are looking for with the Lycos Yellow Pages http://r.lycos.com/r/yp_emailfooter/http://yellowpages.lycos.com/default.asp ?SRC=lycos10
