Depends on the type of water, and what your carp usually feed on. In flowing water a large weighted conehead nymph may work. In some ponds, where carp actively seek out moving stuff to eat, people have been successful with large woolly buggers. Here in Holland, the most effective fly used to be a breadcrust-imitating fly, impregnated with ground kitty treats (i.e. yeast treats).
