Not offended. My message wasn't really 100% serious. I know a lot about
snakes and I know which snakes YOU risk to encounter. I could send the
message to a SWEDE and be serious. Our viper isn't very toxic. And even
though it can LOOK very aggressive, it's quite reluctant to bite... And if
it does, its size will seriously limit the risk of being bitten. They seldom
exceed 3 feet in length. If you're bitten by a swedish one, it's most likely
because you have stepped on it.
This can't be compared with diamondbacks which can reach over 10 feet
(eastern). And rattlesnakes also has a capacity to "launch" a big part (2/3)
of the body when biting. This can make a snake hard to deal with. And then
there are your copperheads, cottonmouths, coral snakes...

No, I'm not offended. I know what you mean...

Nick,
I don't like to kill anything if I don't feel I have to. I did not
attempt to kill the other snakes that did not come towards me. The one I
shot, I am sure was a Copperhead and it was coming straight for me and
fast. I have two sons that love snakes and both have snakes at their
homes. This is just to let you know that I do respect what nature has
put on this earth but if I feel threatened I will take action. Please do
not feel I am offended by your post, I am not at all.
Tony
