I know about your snakes... and I know what the are capable of. I've studied snakes since I was 8 years old... and mainly poisonous ones. I've had cottonmouths and rattlesnakes myself. I have also handled cottonmouths... and I know about their aggressivity (believe me).

 

We are safer than you here, with only one venomous snake... that hardly is dangerous.

I understand the need of something "extra" in your nature...

Nick, I like snakes too, but there's a limit to what I'll put up with. When there are cottonmouth water moccasin threatening me,  I shoot them.  Since you've never dealt with  cottonmouths in your country, you have no idea of how mean they are. Unlike rattlesnakes, coral snakes and copperheads, (other US poisonus snakes), cottonmouths literally look for a fight! And, they can and will bite you under water! They will also chase you on dry land!
