Jody is buying me a Digital Camera for Father's Day. I don't know "doodly squat about them", but I know we have some very knowledgeable members. To help you help me, here's what I want in a digital:
1. Ease of operation
2. Ease of hook-up to computer and uploading pics from camera.
3. Ability to take good quality close-up pics of flies, (like those Hans does for his site.)
4. Ability to take good quality pics of my "classic golf clubs". Buying, selling and collecting them is
another hobby of mine. It is nice to be able to let someone see what a club looks like when they're
interested in purchasing one.
5. Picture storage and extra memory cards.
I'd appreciate your response. What brand and model number of digital camera do you use? What features does it have? - resolution, zoom, storage does it have. Why do you like it as opposed to other brands. ALSO - WHAT can I expect to pay for a model like yours? I know there are a lot of cheap digitals out there. I bought one several years ago and the pic quality was poor and it ate batteries, like you wouldn't believe.
Thanks for your help!
