Deb,I am saying there is nothimg wrong with them. I jsut see that there are a few "purists" who insist that they aren't "proper" or "standard" fly fishing gear. If I listened to every one I would have quit this sport along time I ago. If I use a hook that isn't a "flytying" hook does this constitute a fly?  I say yes because I can cast it with a fly rod. Enough with my anti purist ranting and raving. Kevin
