I have been curious to the idea of using jigs at the end of my line....I am getting to like a local length of the Patuxent River here in MD which offers more smallies and largemouths and crappies and perch than trout (perfect trout water just not stocked)....even though some behemoths have been known to swim up or come down from the reservoir when the gates are opened to release excess water...what kinds of jigs are best? and what sizes for 7 wt.?? Any killer color combos?
