[VFB] Crease Fly

This is for you salties.   It was Deb who started me on this track, she mentioned a while ago that she was having a look at tying up some Crease Flies. How did you get on with them, Deb ?    I've been poking around researching Joe Blado's pattern and I have now tied up a dozen and got some good results and some absolute disasters. I got some workable proportions with 3mm foam on a # 4/0 but had to go to about half that thickness on # 1/0. That Cynoacrylate sure makes a mess of a hookshank when you want to cut the dressing off and start again!    Does anyone have experience tying and fishing these flies?   Anyone glued up their own foil covered foam, Superglue is a pain, contact is messy and I cant find prefoiled foam in this part of the world.   Thanks in advance   David     ______________________________________________ E-mail Disclaimer and Company Information http://www.absa.co.za/ABSA/EMail_Disclaimer
