My favorite color is white sides with diffreent colors along the back, orange, blue or green, and then matching those in the tail colors. Sizes i use are usually from 2 to 1/0.
I try to use them around the edgesof similarly sized schools of bait if I can find them. Otherwise it's blind casting (with all the rain we've had down here this spring, there's been a lot of that, water is just beginning to clear up). Our fishing down here in Louisiana using these flies may be for largemouth bass in freshwater, redfish and spotted seatrout in the main in saltwater.
