It can be very hard to tell the difference between the two species, and to make matters even

more complicated, there are ocean going varieties.  I have experienced what I used to refer to

as Dolly Varden follow a small trout that I have hooked on a fly. I now believe these to

be Bull Trout. Now why do we call them trout when they are not trout at all but char?

Why not Bull Char? Seems the taxonomists screwed up.
