Our sea trout are different to yours, ours are brown trout that have gone out to sea then returned under the name of sea trout. Which part of Florida are you in ? We have been coming over for the past 6 or 7 years. The river was low so not  many fish about, I managed one of about 1LB in weight and we all caught plenty of salmon par on small flies so the river looks to be in a healthy condition good signs for the future.   One night I was fishing from a rock ledge about 5 feet above the water when a sea trout of about 7 or 8 pounds leapt out of the water right under my feet and scared me half to death.
