Naggy Nick,   You're popular...I just don't know who with.  ;o)  Probably all them Sveedish ladies.   I haven't seen the article, but if you use the stuff, it looks like it's a cleaner and treater in one.  If you apply it with a cloth, as long as you don't get excess stuff on the line, you can probably spool it up.  But pulling it through a dry piece of cloth just to remove any excess might not be a bad idea.    There's a chemist or two on the list, and I'd be curious as to how silicone would be for chemistry on the plastic coating on lines.   Best I can tell you.  I don't fly fish.   DonO ----- Original Message ----- From: Niclas Runarsson To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, July 09, 2004 12:36 PM Subject: [VFB] Line maintenance...
