Deb, just cleaned my tying room and know what you are getting into. However,
a note of courage..it is worth the effort. Now every item is in a bin and
labeled, a dresser contains all the hackles, though not yet sorted
completely as to drys and wets, the jungle cock stays in the freezer. I had
much left over deer hair. I put it in the vacuum bags and vacuum packed it
so that the moths would not get in it, then put it in the outside storage
shed. Amazingly, when the vacuum is let off the hair bounces right
back..wasn't hurt a bit. And that kept it bug free. If you have one of those
sealer things, you could even seal it in bags without the vacuum added. I've
found that the vacuum sealing works well for other furs and feathers as
well.  Give it a try with any that you have overages of. Joyce
