Those three drawer units from Walmart are what I'm using now but yours looks
a little neater than mine. ;) I have moth balls in the drawers. So far
knock on wood I haven't seen any bugs. I try to heed a lot of the advice
Joyce gives because I know I can be careless with my materials. I get a
lot of things from friends that hunt and I've learned to use the microwave
and freezer. I keep everything in individual bags but some of the pheasants
I have are pretty good size so I should be checking on them more than I do.
A large freezer would solve that problem.

Deb & Joyce
When I first started fly tying I had the vacuum sealer left over from my BBQ
days
I vacuumed everything and froze it.
Even when I touch some things
I swear that bug that I can not see are getting on me.
But I am buggy, I have to vacuum seal my sofa pillows because I think dust
mites are in them.
I use those vacuum storage things, space savers.
When I take a nap I can feel the dust mites in my eyes.

Woo!!!
Got to go,
The guys in the white coats are here.

PS
Wal-Mart has these cool little roll around drawer or plastic bins
For under ten bucks.
Maybe you can see it in this link?

I now it doesn't look like I am a neat person but I try.
Other wise I come home and my wife will toss it all in the trash.

It was Dan was doing his cleaning today but after reading your post I got
lots of good ideas. I have them all in bins with moth balls now. Every
time I read a post from you I know I need to do a little better I'm just
asking for trouble here. My six year old has started raiding my stash and
taking my extras. Now I'm struggling with him to teach him to put away his
fly tying stuff every time he uses it. I use a lot of my extra stuff in the
classes I teach for UFT and the DEM. It helps save both of them money in
supplies and guarantees I have what I need when I get there.
I think I will go out and buy a vacuum sealer. That is a great suggestion!
I also need to move my JC to the freezer along with my more expensive salmon
feathers. I never knew when I started fly tying how expensive it would be.
Now I need to buy a full sized freezer for my basement. ;0)
Thank you,
Deb
