I don't know if it's ideal, but I'm still enjoying my '90 Aerostar. 325,000 and it's going in for a tune up today. I can take myself and my wife and at least four, somtimes six dogs to the lake or river. In the last ten years I've replaced a starter, a water pump, and an alternator.
