Nick,
Ask Byard to include a pocket dictionary with his shipment.
I thought Teresa would be there to translate for you. Did she leave you
alone?

One advantage of being me- I'm NEVER alone.

Don

Don,

'Gracious', 'understand', 'enlighten'... level with me. You use way too
complex terms for me to comprehend. My secondary language vocabulary isn't
even close as extensive as yours. It's narrowed down to the very elementary
stage. From there also rationalized to cover just the most frequently used
ones (like 'oddities', 'shortcomings' and 'quirks').

I'm trying to follow you on the path of Anglic communication, but being the
midget that I am, I'm experiencing major difficulties overcoming the
mountains of obstacles you leave behind.

;)

/Nick

MeddlelandeNikkeBabee...

I can't speak to the subject of quirkiness, because I don't have any. But,
there are some strange individuals on this site that are accepted anyway
because the rest of us are so gracious, forgiving, and non-judgmental. We
don't ostracize them because they still chuck-&-wind for bass, but we try to
guide them to enlightenment in fly-fish-only nirvana. We understand that
these king-pin renegades are necessary to lower the grading curve so all of
us can feel better about ourselves, saying "I'm glad I'm not THAT bad off."
The TV has its Simpsons and Bundys. We have our equivalent. (in fact, our
"Moore" can autograph your Zebco Bass-Buster reel- eh?)

So don't worry about any personal shortcomings, quirks, or oddities here.
All that matters is that you have a love for tying and flyfishing. That
alone will put you in the upper 'enlightened group'.

Buggs
